SEPCO Founded

SEPCO was founded as a metal fabricating and stamping company by Morris (Pop) Reddock and his son Philip. They purchased its first property in a garage at 5602 18th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY to launch company operations.

SEPCO Incorporated

SEPCO was incorporated and carried a product line which included EMT and Rigid, one-hole and two-hole straps, reducing washers and switch box supports.

SEPCO Purchases Its First Warehouse

SEPCO purchases its first warehouse: 6301 New Utrecht Avenue, Brooklyn, NY and still the building they operate out of today.

Proudly celebrating 25 years as a family-owned business

Morris (Pop) Reddock retires after 31 years, and Philip Reddock was named President.

Howard Feldsher marks the 3rd generation to join SEPCO.

SEPCO installed at King Khalid Military City, launching major international presence.

With pride, SEPCO was installed on the massive construction of King Khalid Military City Base in Saudi Arabia. This put SEPCO on the map for overseas high-profile projects. 

SEPCO celebrates 50 years as a multigenerational family business.

Marking a major milestone, proudly celebrating 50 years as a three generation, family-owned business.

Philip Reddock retires after 50 years. 

Howard Feldsher becomes owner and President.

Ross Feldsher joins SEPCO as 4th-generation family member.

Ross Feldsher continues a legacy, becoming the 4th generation of his family to work for SEPCO. 

SEPCO approved and installed for MTA’s largest capital project.

SEPCO was approved and installed at The East Side Access project which is the MTA’s largest capital project. Provides Lon Island Railroad riders with 40 miles of new tracks, a new terminal beneath Grand Central, and the modernization of the busiest intersection of passenger train lines in North America 

SEPCO proudly installed on The Pentagon following September 11 attacks.

SEPCO was proudly installed on The Pentagon, The Phoenix Project. This massive renovation was part of the destruction caused by 9/11. 

SEPCO approved for Freedom Tower and 9/11 Memorial projects.

SEPCO was proudly recognized and officially MTA and NYCTA approved, spec ’ed, and were installed on the Freedom Tower, One World Trade Center projects and 9/11 Memorial & Museum. 

Ross named Vice-President of Operations.

SEPCO Hot Dipped Galvanized (HDG) Moguls approved by NYC’s major agencies.

SEPCO Hot Dipped Galvanized (HDG) Moguls were introduced and approved by many municipalities and agencies such as New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA), Department of Transit (DOT), Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ), and Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). 

Robert Miles retires after 52 years serving four generations.

Robert Miles, a dedicated warehouse employee, retires after 52 years of service, having worked under all four generations of company leadership.

SEPCO installed at Hudson Yards.

SEPCO was proudly installed at the largest private real estate development in US history and one of the most complex construction projects ever built in New York City, Hudson Yards. 

SEPCO marks 75 years and featured in Crain’s New York Business Magazine.

Proudly celebrating 75 years as a four generation, family-owned business and was featured in Crain’s New York Business Magazine (the most trusted voice in the NY business community), for many of their products which were installed on high profile jobs, such as World Trade Center- Freedom Tower, World Trade Memorial and was a huge partner in the Build It Back NY- Hurricane Sandy Relief Program.

SEPCO launches comprehensive Hot Dipped Galvanized (HDG) product line.

SEPCO introduces a full product line of Hot Dipped Galvanized (HDG) items, which includes Grounding Bushings (with aluminum and copper lugs), Watertight Conduit Hubs, Conduit Bodies, Moguls, (styles, C, LB, LL, LR and T), Three Piece Couplings and Liquidtight Connectors (Straight, 90° and 45°) with or without copper lugs. 

SEPCO contributes to tunnel restorations during Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, SEPCO contributed to the restoration of the Brooklyn–Battery Tunnel (Hugh L. Carey Tunnel) and the Midtown Tunnel and was an intricate partner in the ‘Build It Back, Hurricane Sandy Relief Program’.

SEPCO contributes to frontline efforts during COVID-19 pandemic.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, SEPCO was recognized and deemed as an essential business and contributed to frontline efforts by supplying key products to leading hospitals such as Stony Brook and Mount Sinai.

SEPCO products approved at multiple Intel facilities across Israel.

SEPCO’s products were successfully approved and deployed at many of Intel’s development and manufacturing centers in Israel, specifically in Haifa, Kirya Gat and Jerusalem.

Howard Feldsher inducted into Madison High School Wall of Distinction.

On June 5, 2022 Madison High School in Brooklyn NY, honored Howard Feldsher by inducting him into its Wall of Distinction, joining notable distinguished figures such as Judge Judy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Carole King, Chuck Schumer, and Bernie Sanders, Mr. Feldsher was celebrated for his outstanding contributions as a humanitarian and philanthropist.

SEPCO celebrates 85 years across 4 generations.

Marking yet another major milestone, proudly celebrating 85 years as a family-owned business, spanning 4 generations. 

SEPCO approved for JFK Airport’s $19B terminal redevelopment.

SEPCO was approved and spec’d for the new terminal project which is part of the Port Authority’s $19B overhaul of JFK, including two new terminals, upgrades to two existing ones, a new transportation hub, and a redesigned roadway system.

SEPCO approved for new Midtown Bus Terminal replacement project.

SEPCO was approved by The Port Authority in replacing the 75-year-old Midtown Bus Terminal with a modern facility, featuring a new main terminal, staging building, and direct ramps to the Lincoln Tunnel.

SEPCO adds Explosion-Proof GUA Boxes and HDG Expansion Fittings.

SEPCO expands its product line with two major additions: Explosion-Proof GUA Boxes and 8” HDG Expansion Fittings with 24” Bonding Jumpers
